What this tool does
SRT, WebVTT and ASS/SSA are the three subtitle formats you'll meet most often in a creator's workflow. SRT is the editorial workhorse, VTT is required by HTML5 video and most web players, and ASS is the format of choice for styled overlays. This converter parses any of them and re-emits in the format you pick.
